Andreas Kalogiannides is the founding partner of Kalogiannides Law. He is also currently Co-Chair of the Toronto Music Industry Advisory Council, and serves of the Board of Directors for Yonge Dundas Square and TEMPO Educates Foundation.
Andreas is a graduate of the dual LL.B./M.A. program at the University of Ottawa and Carleton University (Norman Paterson School of International Affairs), with a law degree specialization in Law & Technology. He wrote his Master’s degree thesis on the impact of novel patent licensing models on the development of new biotechnologies.
Through his legal practice, Andreas advises clients in music and entertainment, corporate, intellectual property, and litigation matters, including representing many creative businesses, start-ups, and non-profit organizations. He also represents music and arts organizations, record labels, and creative companies in their business affairs, and music artists in recording, publishing, management and licensing deals.
Prior to founding Kalogiannides Law, Andreas gained experience at a boutique Toronto IP firm, Universal Music Canada, the Future of Music Coalition, Re:Sound Music Licensing Company and Access Copyright.
